Hristo Kyuchukov in front of &#8222;Traveling Katun&#8220;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>A team of researchers &#8222;Traveling Katun&#8220; conducted its first interview with the famous Academician Hristo Kyuchukov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hristo Kyuchukov is the first Romani language expert at the Ministry of Education in Bulgaria, after the changes of 1990, and as such, he is the author of the first textbooks for children and students in the Romani language. His name is primarily associated with the introduction of the Romani language as a school and university subject. He is the founder of the &#8222;Primary School Pedagogy and Romani Language&#8220; major at Veliko Tarnovo University, which was closed years ago due to political reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Hristo Kyuchukov was born on July 19, 1962 in the town of Provadia, in a Muslim Roma family under the name Husein Selimov Kyuchukov, but during the so-called &#8222;revival process&#8220; in 1982 he was renamed Hristo Slavov Kyuchukov.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A team of researchers &#8222;Traveling Katun&#8220; conducted its first interview with the famous Academician Hristo Kyuchukov.
