Natalia Tsekova, a magnificent Bulgarian actress, inspiring, captivates with her charm anyone who dares to touch her magical presence on the stage. They call her the first Roma actress, but not because she was the first to graduate from NATFA, but because she knows who she is, where she is from.
Natalia Tsekova was born in the village of Lesnovo, Elin Pelin municipality. In 2014 graduated from the specialty “Acting Mastery for Drama Theater” at NATFA, in the class of Professor Zdravko Mitkov, also completed a master’s degree – specialty “Public Speaking”.
Nataliya Tsekova has several shows in a row with Zdrava Kamenova – bilingual monoplay “Gypsy wheels”, “Call me by my name”, exploring the theme of the Revival process, monoplay “Taste of Life”. The play “Poraimos – in three stories” with author Maria Kasimova-Moase and director Natalia Tsekova, tells through monologues the stories of three women who saved human lives during the Second World War. The play is based on real people and events.
Nataliya Tsekova actively starred in film and television productions, among them the series “Stolen Life”, “Rumbata, Me and Ronaldo”, the film “The Great French Robbery”, the short production “Mother”, “Who am I and where is my place”, “Photo with Yuki”, “Waiting”, “Romeo and Juliet from the Hamlet”, “The Long Road”, “Traveling Cinema”, “Black Peter”, “I’m Going to Italy” and others.
He participated in the productions of the “Bulgare” ensemble, as well as in various roles on the television of the same name.
